Eastwing Aviation Institute is a prestigious aviation institution with focus on qualitative training, upholding aviation safety standards and practices in the Nigerian Aviation Industry in all regulatory and non-license courses.
Eastwing Aviation Institute, Emene, Enugu Started as Eastwing Aviation Training Centre in the year 2012 with training approval from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) as one of the approved training organizations with ATO registration number NCAA/ATO/020.
Eastwing Aviation was incorporated with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission in 2012
In 2024, Eastwing Aviation was upgraded to National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Awarding Institution by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE)
Hence, Eastwing Aviation Institute has three branches.
- Eastwing Aviation Institute (ND & HND).
- Eastwing Aviation Training Centre Ltd. (School of Personnel Licensing)
- Eastwing Youth foundation (A nongovernmental organization) to assist the less privileged individuals
Eastwing Aviation institute, Emene, Enugu was founded in 2012 by Engr, Dr. Edeh Christopher okechukwu, who had his B.ENG, M. Eng AND Ph. D in Aeronautical Engineering from Russia.

Dr. Edeh Christopher holds a doctorate degree in Aeronautical Engineering, an Airforce veteran with more than 35 years working experience both in Military and civil Aviation environment . He is a member of the Nigerian society of Engineers and Coren Registered. He had attended numerous aviation professional courses both home and abroad.

Has Masters degree in control and automation engineering and currently writing his thesis on instrumentations control and robotics. An Airforce Veteran and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
